Well... to be quite honest most all your work is not good.
They are either technically bad or just not flattering.
This is not your fault as much as it is the people you've shot with.
Also, I couldn't help but notice that you have the "porn star" expression in most every photo. You have have a great smile you should do it more often.

Don't take what I've said as bashing, take it as advice to help you with your port.

I think your have great potential, but I'm not feeling your shots probably because the photographer did not do a good job, the angles are bad, and some of them are too far.  Also, I think you should be more confident when you pose, dont worry, what you think "looks" weird to you might look good for everyone else.  I also tell myself that, I always hate my poses when I'm doing the shoot, and when the photographer compliments me and I see the final results I'm always shocked how good they look.  Be more positive and dont think too hard on a pose, just flow.  I cant really give u too much advice because i'm not a professional model myself, but I can only give you what I think.  You doing great, keep it up!

Didn't see any "Porn Star" expressions on any of your images. But i did see lots of Tits and Ass. Very sexy indeed. Although I will agree on the qulity of some of your images need imporvement. I think you would make a good Fetish and Glamour Model. You have lots of Good curvs and a sexy look. No matter if you lost weight or trimed down you would still be a sexy F'n Hotty. keep it UP! I agree with what seems to be the general consensus:  You're a beautiful woman with a hot body, but you're plagued by crappy pictures.  It would benefit your portfolio/career to work with better photographers - ones who are interested in bringing out your best while flattering you with the camera.

I'd consider removing this pic: https://modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic_id=432f40cb8b819

The facial expression on your partnah's face is *ahem* too distracting.

You have a nice looking face and you are in terrible physical condition and overweight.  Your face looks much better with a smile so keep smiling and avoid some of the other expressons.  Limit your work to genres and poses which are falttering or comercially appropirate for your physique.  Don't bother tring poses which those who work out in the gym all day have perfected consider your role modles to be those with similar charatersitics until you have spend years in the gym..

psp...simply put, you should be monkey stomped...your input might be of value if you had a portfolio to back it up...i find your advice like your work: UNDERWHELMING...as for you PrinSlea...save your $$$ and hire a professional photographer who can best hilight your assets and bring out the personality you wish to project to art directors and shooters...best of luck in your endevours.

I don't think he meant it in the way which you took it. He was saying that to more appealing in your photos you may want to avoid certain poses. Example, to look at other plus size models get some ideas for posing from them.
Perhaps he could have left out the part of you being in "terrible physical condition" as you do know that you are overweight.  smile

First thing you need to learn to do is brush off remarks you find demeaning. Don't allow yourself to take everything said personally. This industry is brutal.
Not everyone sugar coats the truth here.

I agree with everyone's post on this "PSP" person.  First of all, the first thing I noticed was his bad spelling, if you read his post almost every word is mispelled.  I wouldn't want to work with someone like that.  And the things he said about you being fat and overweight, were horrible.  Like I said before, you have lots of potential, keep doing you and don't creepy photographers like this one, put you down.  STAY FOCUS and you will get far. Not everyone is "tall and skinny".  Another thing, I must mention, don't blame some of your bad shots on yourself, yes you can perfect your poses, but your photographers should've caught better angles.  Work with a photographer that can do that and you will come across some beautiful shots. smile

I am sorry you are offended.  You did ask for what others think. I offeed my opinion at your request and now your upset because i did not tell yu a lie.

here is an explanation for those who feel abused by the wording of this post.

Terrible physical condition
- refers to some unhealthy excess weight.

Your face looks much better with a smile so keep smiling and avoid some of the other expressions.
- this is a compliment to try to tell you that your face and smile smile is an asset.

Limit your work to genres and poses which are faltering or commercially appropriate for your physique
I am trying to suggest that there are poses which are commercially valuable with your physique – so limit your portfolio to what will help you within this business and avoid those which will not help you.

Don't bother tiring poses which those who work out in the gym all day have perfected
- I am trying to suggest that you poses in your portfolio are not flattering.

Consider your role models to be those with similar characteristics
-    try to emulate plus size models.

I used spell check this time to avoid disturbing some of the other literary critics.

The problem with this thread is that is has become about my comments and not about the work – I did not mean to hijack the thread and make it about me or garner any attention – I meant to help Prin S lea with her portfolio.

I agree with many posters here that some photographers may be able to do a better job in bringing out your assets and hiding your imperfections.

Personally, I would get rid of the left-most photo on the third row of your port... it has really bad lighting and makes your skin look really dull and sun-damaged.  In some of your other shots, you have good skin tone, so I'm sure that this photo is not portraying the best of you ; )

She is presenting herself as a full-figured model.  She looks in good condition to me - everything is where it's supposed to be.  In fact, I think she looks fabulous.

As a side note: You may want to work on your spelling, syntax and punctuation.

You're very pretty...I know it can be difficult in the full size/plus/whatever the hell they're calling it this week field, especially if you don't fit that 10-14 size mold, but believe me, the work is out there.  Just hang in there!

As for my critique, I don't know much because I'm not a professional, but I don't think these images are showcasing you to your best advantage, except for the one I commented on.  It's hard to find a photographer when you're just starting out who really knows what to do with a plus sized model.  We have different posing needs than the straight sized girls, and that's something that needs to be considered.  However, please be aware that I said it's definitely not you, it's the images.  Keep shooting and get more comfortable in front of the camera, and you'll find that your images improve by leaps and bounds as you go along.  (Not that I have a lot of room to talk smile )

Hope this helps and doesn't offend...you have great potential!

For a little more plus-centralized advice, you might try Curvy Chick.  I don't know if I can make the link work, but I'll give it a try:

http://www.curvychick.com

Anyway, there are a couple of plus model forums on there with some basic good advice.  If you didn't already know about it, maybe it will be useful to you.  Good luck in your budding career!!
