Any suggestions to make these images any better if I reshoot? Are they portfolio quality in your opinion?

in the first one her bracelet takes away from the image. keep it simple.
in the second one her pink nail pollish is throwing me off.

Try another lens, like a 100mm.  It's a great photo already.

I agree with the pink nail polish in the second one. The first one, I was trying to create a fashion type of image with the focus on the jewlery, so I am actually glad your eye went there.

Leona – I like the first one but I was going to criticise the image with the bracelet as you are not looking into the camera and the bracelet is the focus.  The criticism comes from the perspective your portfolio is about selling YOU not selling bracelets.

The scone one I am not pleased with at all.  So I was going to suggest you find one like the first where you ARE looking into the camera as it is more appropriate for your portfolio.  To me anyone can look away and remove themselves and the focus – I want a model who can OWN the image leave it.
