i'm looking for some honest critique of my work. i feel like i'm moving forward with a style of sorts, but would like other's opinions.

Well its hard to say without knowing what your goal/market is.  For fashion to start with standardize your frame... make everything 9x12 or 11x14.. crazy sizes is cool for fine art.. but getting a feel for a proportion is pretty important

Uhh.. general advice.. don't take anything as a given, the environment, the light, the expression anything.  Take control of everything in your frame.  Don't like that rock.. move it, don't like that peice of hair in her face... brush it out of the way... too harsh lighting  bounce some light in with a card, or a fill flash, or find some open shade.. or backlight her and shoot into the sun.  You are responsible for everything in the frame... own it.
