I'm wondering if anyone has bought/plans to buy because of the latest round of rebate offers.

Also, there appear to be catches. For example, If I read them correctly, you can't get the $100 rebate on the 20D camera body. You have to buy the 20D kit (w/18-55 MM lens). Is that right?

Yes, I would like to, and no, you're not correct.

In fact, in the rebate form instructions, it specifically says that if you buy the kit, what they want you to send is the UPC from the box the camera body comes in, not the kit box. (When you buy a Canon kit you get one big box that has the camera body and the lens inside, each in their separate retail boxes.)

Anybody out there in the market for any of the lenses that are on rebate? I'll go in with you and we can both get double our rebates!
