This was a VERY difficult pose: swinging metal beads (without hitting myself with them), keeping by body poised with shoulders and face straight without making a weird facial expression.

Do any other models have experience w/difficult poses?

I took one standing on top of a radiator, with stilleto heels on. It was difficult to keep my balance for a long time, but the pic was well worth it.  It's in my portfolio here if you want to check it out.

I had to do this, but while leaning forward and no movement allowed (something about taking the photo with no lights requires time for the camera to focus.. movement = blurrrrrr)

I was imediately inspired to get more excercise! haha

Yes, all models have experience with difficult poses.  In fact every time a model has been asked to do a pose that was not easy, she was gaining experience with a difficult pose.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't worry about it.  This is a business about overcoming challenges!

Hi Alan,

Not worried about it at all. (SMILE)  Just wanting to share and hear from other models who have experience w/difficult poses- I don't believe that all models have such experience, but yes, it is a business about overcoming challenges.

Take care,
Beth

Shooting in the woods after it rained for the entire previous week,  5" heels sinking in the mud, and falling off of a tree scraping up my leg.... yup ... Ive had posing problems.

That reminds me of the shoot I did with the orange haired girl in my profile. It rained for 2 days before the shoot and we thought it was going to rain that day. She had a pair of 350 dollar stilleto heeled shoes on and was walking right in the mud and climbed a tree yet somehow managed to not sink in a bit and only getting the bottom of the sole of the heel and main section of the shoe dirty. I guess if I wore 350 dollar shoes id become light as a feather, too, lol.

Still wondering if any models can do "Rock Concert Movement #4: The Behind the Head Leg Stretch..."

Well, anyone other than Wenona (I've seen her do it in person...)

I don't have models do difficult poses, or poses at all for that matter.  I want them warm and comfy and looking like it.  That said, I do pose the face and expect them to hold it.  The body sort of follows along.
