For at least a frigin week if not the rest of the month.

Let's try to be positive.   As much as people made fun of the concept,  why not help each other for a change.

Sure that does not mean free reign for the bullshit artists but this site is becoming a bit negative.

Search and respond to positive threads.
If giving a critique,  state a positive first.
If someone states something that is not knowledgeable then help them instead of pounding on them.
If dealing with another member try to be forward thinking.
I have been using the announement box to not say look at me but look at those who are great to work with.
For if someone sees you push up someone else then they see you work in a positive light not a selfish one.   Even if they are not on MM.  Give them credit.  Say thankyou to the great crews that help us create art.
If dealing with a moderator do not think of them as the enemy.  And we should also take a step back and respect your input and feelings.

Sophia stated something tonight.  I cannot sleep.   No drinking,  just the nocturnal vampire in me.   Let's take a week or more off from bashing people.

I really do not think it is all that hard.   Hold back the complaints.

But give the truth.  Positive first,  honest positive,  then honest critique if needed for I do not want this site to become a BS festival.

Be creative in your approach,  be siily,  be positive.

There is a saying or statement from most successful people that 90 % of your time should be positive outlook and approach on today and tomorrow and only 10 % on the problems and the problems of yesterday.

Blah,  blah, blah,

let's have Mayhem in a positive form.

And yes I am going to spam tonight.  Because this site needs it.

I tried the yesterday and was not well received with this post on this thread….
https://modelmayhem.com/posts.php?thread_id=20402

I've had this conversation with Sophia in private and any bashing is unwanted drama to me as well as others.

Do we really need another model bashing thread?

I'm tired of seeing anything negative about anyone. I know all the models I've shot with and of the 150+ models I shot this year, ALL were exactly what they said they were or had posted on their profile.
Why don't we turn this hater thread around and lead by example?

Here’s a scenario: Tell a story of how you used to represent your stats which were “paddedâ€? and say a few times you were dismissed when photographers learned you were not a size 5 but a size 7 (fictions numbers) and that you missed out on being paid or that you were say, 5’-9â€? when you were really 5’-6â€? and the designer was looking for the taller size for runway work.

I see no value in a rant about things you can’t change unless you offer a solution.

*steps off soap box thingy*

Okay.

That's all.

I am happy. Just doubled my dose of anti-depressants, did 100 edits, and made myself leave the house for a whole 30 minutes to take pics of Chicago in winter.

I'm positive. I'm positive that I have nothing positive (or negative) to say.

Edit: I started stealing Lapis' drugs.
Oh and they aren't working for you because I substituted a placebo.

hmmmmm. That would be why I have insomnia even after taking handfuls of sleeping pills and washing them down with scotch?

In the most positive way possible, of course.

Now, on another positive note, I have to call my mother and say hello. yay!

yeah...go elsewhere with those pesky photos.

I'm just here to blab about positively everything.

Besides, image compression makes it pretty hard to tell how good the pics are, it just shows which ones are clearly bad. But I am NOT complaining here. Even image compression can be a GOOD thing. Maybe there should be image compression lessons, so people would put up smaller files and then not get them recompressed...but that is beginning to sound like site discussion and complaining.

Positively thrilled to be here!!!!!!!

I think if we forced people to not upload a file bigger than X size they would have to learn image compression.  Then it would be the person uploading the photo who decided the quality of the image.

I am not complaining either I think that would be a positive change for the better.

On another positive note, damn this site is fast without those pesky photos.  The forums are a fun place again!

I get to see my mother tomorrow!  I saw her last in March.  I could have had a child in that kind of time.  (But I didn't, which is another positive thing.)

Everyone is SOO positive!!

I am in a positive mood too, because I took the plunge today and purchased my first real piece of glass...a 70-200mm f2.8 Canon L series lens...I am positively jazzed.
