I have some damaged photographs from my grandfather that are at least 60 years old.

I would like to get them cleaned and enlarged.

Where is the best place to do that in New York City?

I *think* that CRC will do it for you

20 E 22nd St

Ask for Brian and tell him Didier's (pronounced D.D.A.) assistant James Jackson sent you.

Don't know if they're the best, but the guys at Duggal Digital's in-house retouching lab are very good.

I do not know the name but on 12 or 13th st between Broadway and University place there is a small place that specializes in restoration.

Thanks, guys. I'll check those out. Anyone really use these places? These shots are like heirlooms so I'm very hesitant to leave them in the hands of strangers.

CRC handles about a couple million dollars worth of film a day, but the reason I said to ask for Brian is because he's the owner, and he loves taking on special projects himself.

If he has spare time he will do it himself, and he's a very careful person.
