Does anyone have a recommendation for a good posing book? I am most interested in getting tips on posing the model's hands. I'm always at a loss when trying to figure out the best position for hands and fingers. Anyone have any tips or a good resource for something like this?

An associate of Monte Zucker has a book that pays particular attention to that subject.  Unfortunately, I can't recall the guy's name and I don't own it.  Very famous photographer though.

I realize that this wasn't much help but maybe it's a start.

Article about classic hand posing in "Professional Photographer" Back issue - September, 2005 (Vol. 132 - No. 2320) Pages 58-60
www.ppmag.com (I think you can order back issues online)

A great published book on posing is "The Portrait Photographer's Guide To Posing" by Bill Hurter. It includes many posing techniques including how to pose the hands and corrective techniques (Fixing long noses, small eyes, etc.).
www.amazon.com (Where I picked it up)

All I can recall at the moment. Hope it helps.

Sincerely,

I just remembered the guy's name.  It's Don Blair.
