you're right.  It's very confusing for many holier than thou photographers too.  I don't mean you...

I think when many people use the word "model" they are referring to "fashion, runway models" and that is only 1 small, small aspect of "Models".

By the way,

We've all learned on MM that only full-time commercial fashion photographers are real photographers. Everyone else is just a GWC.  Why should the rules be any different for models?

Funny, I never got that memo. I know plenty of photographers here who don't shoot high fashion. I also know of more than a few GWC's.

model:  a small balsa wood or plastic airplane, boat, or motor vehicle, often assembled with glue.  So, none of you are models.

Actually some of us models are assembled with glue. Perhaps the girls who get their nails done, wear fake eyelashes, wear weves, etc...

I've seen some models come apart.  Maybe the glue melts under the hot lights.
