I need to try to locate somebody and have been looking at various "people finder" websites, but none really seem to be quite as informative and helpful as I think they should be.  I suspect that they would just prefer getting my cc number over providing the requested information.

Several "reviews" have recommended a site called www.netdetective.com, but even this seems to have some questionable elements and those reviews are all from sources unknown to me.

Does anybody have any suggestions or experience along this line?

There's alot of information that can be obtained from many sources directly over the internet... often for no charge.

Most of the pay sites or actual P.I.s get their information from the exact same public websites as well.

I've been able to obtain some VERY PERSONAL information about some people by starting off with just their name and phone number.  From that I'd obtain current address, price paid for the home, marriage license information, voters registration number AND whether or not they voted in last election,  alias's, name of business they owned... and more).  ALL that information can be obtained within an hour.

Once you get a little bit of info, you can use it along with the known info and the results will grow exponentially!

There are a ton of websites where you can get one kind of info or another... actually... there's too many to list.  The BEST results are usually from county  records.  Now, not all counties have information available on the web, but if they do it's a great place to start off from!

As you'll see, his 4br, 4 bath home is over 4700 square feet.  The second floor is only 850 square feet, his garage is actually larger than the second floor.  Don't count on him needing a new roof very soon, because it's made of concrete tile.
