Beauty dish and reflector, you can see the set up in her eyes. So simple.

Since my lighting equipment is pretty limited, these were all taken with a single beauty dish adapted to fit an off camera flash.

This was shot with a single 16" beauty dish with a grid using a Metz 44AF flash.  There is a small continuous light on the backdrop.  Comments, good and bad, are welcome.

Any photo in my port with a strobe, was a WLx800 with a beauty dish and sock. Pretty much my go to light if I need a strobe.

Only one beauty dish:

BD at foot of bed, no reflector.
https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8640/16543227409_96cf596841_o.jpg

BD far over the camera right for a chiaroscuro look. No reflector.
https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3931/15257227390_b23630da7b_b.jpg

BD ~4 feet to camera right, flagged on left half.

I have plenty following this example, bc I only have 1 strobe and the BD is my favorite light smile

These three shots shot used with only 22" Beauty Dish. The last two show a reflection from the dish, one more evident than the other with a bit of a self portrait.
