so I had a shoot today and nI had to use someone elses equipment awesoem stuff but I was'nt too familiar with it so it turns out alot of it came out way overexposed is there any way to bring this down and fix this

A good way is to duplicate your background layer and use multiply.  Adjust to taste.  It doesn't take much.  If it's not too extreme it may work.  If they're RAW files, it's easier.
