So recently this summer my family hired a photographer to do the big family picture. But she seems to use portrait and gaussian blur actions on all pictures. But......it's bad. Like I know my grandparents should have a few wrinkles......But is there any real way to tone this down? I know I could try and throw some noise in there to add a little texture back. But even high pass is looking worthless. If it's a lost cause, it's fine. I think it is, but some of you are very crafty. Thanks. If you need an example, let me know!

There's not much you can do to restore information that's been deleted/blurred away, short of painting it back in.

There's always contacting the photographer and playing the dissatisfied customer card...
