What is HDR?
And can it be achieved in Adobe Photoshop CS2? If so, how? Many thanks in advance. X Oct 22 09 10:33 am Link HDR is high dynamic range. It usually involves multiple images at different exposure settings either manually blended or using software. CS2 had merge to HDR if I remember but I was never fond of the results. I much prefer manual blending using stacks and masks. If you shoot the shadows at the proper exposure, everything else will in essence be burned out. If your camera is held very steady (as in tripod) and subject not moving between the two (OR MORE) exposures, the two exposures can be combined by manually masking out the over and underexposed areas in each image ... and blending in some fashion, so that the detail is seen in all areas. ... that's kind of the concept ...
