One thing I've found is that the cc goes though 2 AAA batteries in about 4 hrs. If you fire and the cc goes off its time for new batteries.

Oh, what the hell. It's seriously not that difficult, and I've used it more times than I can think of with only one battery change.

mine was getting misfires, some units fired most of the time...

diagnosis was the cc unit was talking to the syncs but not hearing them... buff sent me a new one.

was a lot faster to program the new ones... thanks in part to the instruction set i put together and referred to on glamourphotography.co

need to put them through a shoot.  test fires seem working better now.

who been using them long time no issues?

I've been using mine the past six months or so. I did have one issue that caused me to not be able to use it with my vagabond, but that was determined to be an issue with the inverter, which was replaced without hassle.

Am on my 3rd Cybercommander.

first one wasn't working right... lots of miss fires.

second one the flash meter was not working in low power ranges.

On third one.

It seems working.
