CHALLENGE: can you do better than me?
OK so here's the deal, I think I did pretty good on these photos I'm going to post but I want to see if anyone can do much better which I'm pretty sure you all will since I'm only a photographer. PM me for NEF files, post and I'll judge you based on what I think the photo should "feel" like. Are you game???? oh yeah zee prize is you get to use it in your portfolio as long as you credit both me and the model. Mar 04 10 05:46 pm Link Are these the edits or the originals? Either way, I'd like to give it a shot. The last two I'd like to work with. Can you send me the files? If possible, jpeg, tiff, or png would be best. I think I may have over worked them a bit. Especially the second one. First one came out better, but the colors in the second one are best. Hahaha. I know it's kinda hard since the model is not really suitalbe for high key shooting Mar 06 10 02:46 am Link HuggleMistress wrote: I see what you did, I like how you brought back the overexposed dress, very simple edits but they work good I like them both Mar 06 10 02:53 am Link Mar 07 10 01:40 am Link That arm is so wrong. I understand you were going for a high fashion pose. But it is just wrong lol. And because its so awkward it has created strain all up and down that arm which has given it alot of pinching at the wrist. Arms and hands if they are put into positions like that need to be faked so there is no real contact on the body. That way there is no muscles tensing up and creating unwanted strain. Also if they are going to be in a position like that then the shoulders and hips should be diagonal to each other so that there is some sort of flow for the eye. To me it looks like someone has taken that arm and flipped it horizontally in photoshop and pasted it on there. Mar 07 10 02:15 am Link aaronv2 wrote: Is this high fashion? I didn't think this was for Prada or anyone like that. Wait....is this even a critique forum? Whoa, it's not! Anyway, you're a photoshop wizard, fake it until it looks good!
