Sorry about the other thread getting locked ... let's try this again without the nipple. Seemed to be good interest, so I'll repost minus that one pic.

OK the rules:
Retouchers and Artists may use these images in their portfolios as long as I am given credit as the photographer.

Photographers may feel free to practice on these images, but I ask please do not put them in your photographer's portfolio. You may however place them on sharing sites such as Photobucket for the sole purpose of showing your work in this thread. If you use Flicker, please mention this thread in the comments section.

Please post your work here for us to see and learn from. Details of some of the things you did would be great.

Not a requirement, but if you'd like, you can send me the final at leroy at leroydickson dot net.

Enough with the requirements, here's the pics... this time with no nipple... lol

Thanks for posting these to work on.  I like using someone elses shot, because I find I have more trouble going all out on my own.  Maybe it's because I am more familiar with the face, or maybe it's because I don't want to go to extremes.  Anyway, I really like having the practice.  I will post what I've done, cause I've got to quit using this as an excuse to stall on the things I need to do...  ;-)

Oh, and I invite critiques, because I always am learning.

I started simple, but then kinda got going.  First, I went with a bit of a golden tint, to really emphasis the evening light.  Then I did the blemish removal.  Looking at the pic for awhile, I decided I didn't like the expression, so next I pursed the lips a little, and gave an upturn for a slight smile.  After that her eyes didn't look right, so I turned them up a little to match the smile.  Then I worked on the nose just because I wanted the practice.  I enlarged the right breast a bit, curved the back slightly, and tucked the tummy just a little.

I worked some shadow lines, which is normally how I reshape a face, instead of being as drastic as I was on this image.  To finish, I smoothed skin, and burned to give a deeper contrast on the skin.  I think that was all...

Changed the selective colours, made it more vibrant, put on 'eyeshadow' to highlight eyes, highlighted swimsuit more by using the dodge tool, put a lighting effect and remove hair that was in the model's face.
