Great shots! I'd love to try my hand at them for portfolio purposes... Could I possibly get the links for #2, #3, and #4?

Interesting texture - I'd probably use that on a different kind of photo, more rugged, but glad to know that you can do that though.

I really like your pictures. And some of the images that have been put up are beautifully post processed. I went kinda gritty with it. I welcome sincere critique. (PS- for lack of knowing a better place to host the actual file I just uploaded the jpeg to my portfolio so I could link to it. Can anybody steer me towards the protocol for hosting other people's images so I don't come off like I'm trying to steel somebody else's nice work?)

wow! you know what I had this idea about this type of post prod style but couldn't quite articulate it. I think you nailed it , very gritty, you're right. This is actually the perfect photo for doing that to since the model suits it , but also not to say the other direction can't be taken either. I think I've seen both thanks to the talent in this thread and I lke both equally. Great job. I'd lke to use it for my portfolio - if you can clean up the bottom as well - make it all white background? As far as hosting files, what I've learned from on here actually is that the best one is www.mediafire.com but I dont know , some people might have other choices? I also use www.picturetrail.com - which for me is the easiest at obtaining the image urls from - very easy to use . mediafire, is easy too and the advantage is that you can store huge files - raw etc. both are free
