Photographers for the most part are ARROGANT!  If a model pays me to shoot her, SHE owns the pictures!  If a client "PAYS ME" to shoot something, the CLIENT owns the pictures.  When someone shoots for Playboy, PLAYBOY owns the Copyrights!

Photography is a learned skill, like someone who paints your house.  Someone paints your house, they get paid for the actual skill of painting your house.  As a photographer, is someone pays me to take a picture, THEY own the picture they paid me to take.

If the Photographer is NOT getting paid and is doing it for the "ART" of it, then they own the Copyright unless there is a prior "Signed and Witnessed" agreement that the model shares the Copyright.

Ask anyone who has shot for Vogue, Glamour, or Playboy who owns the Copyright...
