We were thinking of renting for a bit just for that reason as we have 2 kids under 12yrs and want a good neighborhood for them. I do have a business prospect lined up but I was also looking into a "conventional" job as well...just in case. We are looking forward to live in the warm sunshine

We are looking forward to live in the warm sunshine For a nice family environment (schools, parks, safe), look to north Clearwater or Safety Harbor. Purchasing a place in Pinellas County will cost a little more than the Tampa side because we've run out of land on the little peninsula. I used to work in Tampa and heard more bad things about the schools there than in Pinellas County. They drive worse in Hillsborough County, and the insurance rates reflect that. What line of work are you into? Thinking of a serious photography business? Send me a note if you want more demographic information. As for that warm sunshine - It gets nice about November.

I could go on Oct 4th or Oct 18th....but on the 11th I could only stop by for a few minutes with the kids to say hi. It is only about 2 blocks from my place.
