Foundation over liquid latex
I am planning a shoot where I am going to be using flesh toned liquid latex, and I need to know if there is any foundation that will cover this to make it blend in with the rest of the skin. It is a shoot I am doing with a friend of mine for fun, so I can't afford to hire a MUA, so any help I can get is much appreciated. The latex is going to be stretched during the shoot, so I need a foundation that will stick and stay put. Thanks. Brett Sep 27 06 02:31 am Link I'd say hire a MUA with experience in this. You do need a special foundation for this and its pretty pricey. Regular foundation get's "eaten away" by the latex. And unless your experienced with latex, you could do some damage, so be careful. If you can't afford one, offer TFP, I'm sure someone is looking for experience. Mandy of Deadly Design Make-up Artistry Sep 27 06 12:27 pm Link I have flesh colored latex, but when it is applied to the skin the color doesn't quite match up, and the latex shows up under the lights to shiney. It is going to be a horror/gore shoot, where the latex is going to have hooks in it to stretch the latex and make it look like the skin is being pulled off. We are also going to be using fake blood during the shoot.
