Digital Makeup
Now and then i have the opportunity to add to a photo edit with makeup..mostly eyes and lips. but I'm not happy with the standard i have in this area. Does anyone have any links or tips to help me improve with a specific area or in general? Nov 10 12 12:10 pm Link Yes I do. Talk to this guy #364873. He is a great instructor and really tailors to what you are trying to do. One of the first classes to truly change my editing for the better. Nov 10 12 12:20 pm Link in Photoshop? For eye make-up I sample the colour of the outer edge of the iris. Then I use a hard brush to 'paint' make-up over the eye, and a thin line under the eye. Use gaussian blur to soften the make-up. (try a few different thicknesses and blur amounts etc. until you get the hang of it) Mask that layer, and re-paint in the colour (the blurring bleeds the colour into unwanted areas) Clip a Hue/Sat adj layer to the make-up layer. This gives you greater colour control of the make-up colours etc.... Finally, adjust the opacity of the make-up layer to your tastes. Thanks for that tip i do a similar technique already but never thought of using the colour from the eye.
