Hi, I know you are after some feed back in the comments section but I though I would give you some here.

Firstly my (also armature) opinion is that you have a good eye for composition. I think that you have some really cool shoots that you have photoshopped a little to hard. ( LOL can't believe I'm saying that to someone else lol). Your good photography stands out and I think that you have some good ideas at the hart of your images. Just be aware that Photoshop doesnt always make things better.

The shots you have that aren't over ( or noticeably) photoshopped are very cool, and again good composition. Notably : -

I think are very cool. For what my opinion is worth I think your work is valid and interesting chap, and I don't think you need to play with filters or layers to make it anymore so. I look forward to seeing some of your new images.

You have some images with some really good composition.
Leave the PS effects alone and concentrate on using PS just to post process a bit.
