Nikon Toronto rocks. Flat out. Excellent service.

It's easy to find negative posts out there. It's rare for people blog/write positive things on the interwebs, they just vent their frustrations.

Either way, service doesn't enter into my choice of gear. Features and Ergonomics make it up for me.

Not for me, nor any Nikon shooters I know on the west coast.

The word out here is do not waste several weeks time shipping to Vancouver repair, since 9 out of 10 get sent to TO. Ship straight to TO repair.

Out of 6 shooters here with prosumer/pro equipment, not one has anything good to say about Nikon Service today.

My last interchange that was good, involved a brand new F100.
And any camera can fail.
I just hate investing in a $5000 potential brick.

Yeah they are quite shitty.  Sent my D800 back for repairs for AF issues, it was returned unchanged hmm

NY has a good rep.

And adding.

Anybody notice that the vast majority of the comments here from people who are happy with Nikon repair, are from people sending to the NY facility?
