Jan 23 13 02:17 pm Link DivaEroticus wrote: I know right Jan 23 13 02:28 pm Link Depends on what industry you're talking about. Fashion is more slim with little to no curves. Glamour on the other hand is slim with curves. From my observations. With your body, I'd think you'd be perfect for glamour work. I shoot quite a bit of biker chic, motorhead, surf, beach, island, urban, all most all of those genres prefer curves to "skinny" . . . of course most high fashion, catalog, and high end casual still look for a "model build" style model, mostly so their clothes hang a certain way . . . then there's VS, skinny, AND curvy . . . The OP's curves are welcome in front of my lens anytime . . . SOS Jan 26 13 05:50 am Link Well I think Christina Hicks is a perfect example of a curvy lady . Jan 26 13 06:46 pm Link I prefer slim, small chested women. That gif of Kate upton kind of makes me ill. Jan 26 13 07:13 pm Link Cait Chan wrote: Bad sized bra is what happened here.. Jan 26 13 07:24 pm Link I like my body, which I refer to as slim but curvy (although not as booby as the example presented; my curves are in my waist-hip ratio, of which there has been interesting biological studies done) Many people mistake my body type for having no curves; I must wear clothing in my every day life that does a poor job of showing my figure. Some commercial advertising in my area is leaning towards more representation of the "full figured woman", but fashion agency boards seem to be the same 34-24-34 as has been, which is curvy, but also tall and thin. Jan 26 13 07:25 pm Link I'm looking over the images from Couture Fashion Week, and I'm looking over all the ad campaigns that the designers and other industry professionals are releasing, and I'm not seeing a difference in the kinds of models that they're using. Same standard girls as always. Kate Upton (and women who look like Kate Upton) are not featured at all. The industry looks the same as it has for decades (except for a bit more racial diversity.)
