OK, just so you know. I am friends with Purple Princess edits. So to cast the final tie breaking vote. I flipped a coin. Wanted to be fair and felt that was the best way.

Shouldn't Mediademon have won this since Purple Princess Edits was in violation of Rule 13 [You must post with your entry what medium (software used) and how you processed the artwork(example : Photo, new background, Painted etc or Oil painted, photoshop etc...) If you do not post how you processed it (steps taken) and the medium, you will be disqualified.]?

Title: Beautiful Manipulation Editing: Edited on CS6, Image of female is my photography, background is a purchased stock photo. The lighting was used from the photoshop filters, dodged and burned throughout the entirety of the photo. Light uses of denoise with a subtle touch of noise on the smoothed skin. Used overlay with a paintbrush to enhance eyes and jewelry. Also a few additions to hair fullness.

And if you had been here in the earlier discussions it was determined that the guidelines / rules were going to be lightly administered. And I will overlook most areas as was the determination of the majority of the group participating at the time. Because IF I were to administer the rules to the letter, we would have no entries a lot of days. Basically if they don't violate rules 1,2,3,4,6 and 8 don't expect me to be heavy handed. So I'll ask again. DO I continue to be light handed or follow to the letter of the rules? Would you like the rules revised? Would someone else like to run the contest? Fred

Fred Fred: I'm sorry if I struck a nerve with my question. I only asked it for clarification. I understand that the submission field can be sparse at times and I do appreciate your commitment to running this contest. For the sake of clarity, may I suggest changing rule 13 from: "You must post..." to "You should post..." and eliminating the last sentence about being disqualified? I enjoy this contest and I would really like to see it continue & thrive. Sincerely, Jerry O

I have taken into consideration your comment and have revised the rules. Anybody else have suggestions? Fred

Model shot in front of fabric backdrop with my cheap azz camera and some flashy lights. New background and layers top create colors and scratches, smoke to gun, usual photo edits to original image, adjusted tone and curve

Image is of a co worker when I needed an image of someone "surprised". I did additional Photoshop work more for fun than anything else. Over-liquified the eyes and mouth, clipped out and placed on blue background. Adjusted the color of the shirt from dark green to red for contrast against background. Painted the eyes to match the background.
