Submissions are open Mondays through Thursday. The start voting banner will be dropped Thursday 12 p.m. PST ending Sunday 9 p.m. PST. Votes will be tallied, winner(s) announced as soon as possible. Digital Art Of The Week Rules. 1. Only one entry per person per contest day, 2. Only one vote per person per contest day. 3. No vote stacking or asking for other MM members to vote for you. 4. Voting starts at 12:pm the day of contest, it closes at 9:pm. Pacific/MM time. 5. To vote, quote the entry you wish to vote for and type "Vote". 6. 18+ Images are allowed, but must be linked and noted: nudity, violence, etc. as per MM image rules! 7. DO NOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN IMAGE. Individuals that participated in the creation of an entry may not vote for that image. These individuals include photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists, and Photoshop wizards. Such votes will be disqualified. If you enter, you are expected to vote. If your image wins and you didn't vote, your entry will be DQ. 8. You may not re-enter a previously winning image, but non-winning images may be re-entered as soon as the next day. 9. Photo Artwork must be digital art. No 3d characters as the main focus. 10. Unlike some contests you may post a story to go along with your work. 11. Contest Hosts have the right to enter their own images and vote in all contest! 12. Disqualified Participants will be notified with suspected violation within that days contest. A DQ is for that contest only and does not constitute banishment! ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. Photomanipulation (ie. Changed as if adding object, extracting, new background, elements etc.). 2. Retouches. 3. Painting Digitally (oil or anything else). 4. A photo that has the same elements but is then rendered into a different photo, for example adding a third person, a castle and changing colors and hand painting it. 5. Drawing in Photoshop, painter etc... 6. Stock Images are allowed as sub-components, but must be noted. Please be prepared to provide a link to license and usage rights, if requested to do so by Contest Host, other contestants or MM Staff! NOT ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. Photos right out of camera. 6. Simple RAW File conversions. 7. Adding photos together to create a photo montage is not a qualifier as "Digital Art". 8. Images created using copyrighted imagery from another individual, company, etc. No game screen shots. If anyone submits images in violation of these rules you may be disqualify from the contest. 9. Do not post any content (or retouch that content in such a way) that violates copyright, trademarks, service marks, or right to privacy/publicity laws, including mock tear sheets/magazine covers/advertisements, proof images or unlicensed game screen shots. If anyone submits images in violation of these rules you may be disqualify from the contest.
