Yes, you are right.   It was a good start.  Kelly with his looks, and being in a video where he was being playfully teased by Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler had an awesome opportunity to launch a good career from that experience.   As it turns out, that was his only acting credit.  I would have been thrilled to hang with those two ladies!  Not necessarily is it about dating leading ladies  (although that might have been possible for him back then) but about making connections. If I were that good looking shirtless in a video that has been seen by more than a billion people, I would have worked that opportunity to the max!   I don't know him, but something was  NOT quite right with him early on?   What went wrong?  Was he a born predator?  Was it the way he was pampered by his mom?  Hard to say ...  and now he is doing hard time.  I don't feel the least bit sorry for him.

Rape isn't about who's hot or not, or anyones "ability" to get people to like them and get into bed with them. It's a violent display of power. Anyone can be an abuser, in fact being attractive makes it even easier to cover up and get away with it for a longer period of time, because as you said....hard to believe right?

Not trying to justify Florida not going after him but sometimes certain things only kept people honest -- this guy got away with what he did because he was from wealth and privilege.
