I will be in Chile in the next 6 months. The Chilean or South American photographers are not really in Model Mayhem.

Any one know the alternatives of MM in South America?

Basically how to connect to artists and photographers?

Any ideas will be helpful!

There appears to be a photographer or two and half dozen models in the Santiago area who have recent login dates on their profiles.

I would contact them, see if you can arrange to meet with one of them... bribe them with drinks or perhaps a meal or something and see if you can pick their brains on how they network there.

What is your destination in Chile? How long to you plan to stay?


I had a nice trip there once. I traveled over the Andes from Argentina.

I would like to go back to explore more of the central and southern regions.

I did meet and contact a few, but simply there are not enough photographers and very lack of artist photographers!

Are you planning to come back to Chile anytime soon?
