I have been shooting a little over a year and would like some constructive feedback on my portfolio. Your time to provide some ideas is much appreciated.... This is nice except for the huge distracting watermark; I also suspect a little too much skin smoothing was done and to compensate it looks like there may have been some over sharpening around her face and hair, but overall I like it. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/37673532 Lovely. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/36772994 Cool, really interesting. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/35478787 In this one I can't tell if she's making eye contact with the camera or just a hair above it, and her face is a different color from the rest of her body, and her expression is bored. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/37672721 Not bad for a start. I'm not personally a fan of the composites; the backgrounds are almost universally overly blurred or in general overwrought; also, did you actually shoot with all of those models including Doris May Day? Just wondering because those photos of her look like the ones from the pinupgirl clothing website. Would have never guessed you're a beginner... Jan 06 15 07:01 pm Link Thanks for the feedback. I started with composites and have moved more into portrait photography. Jan 06 15 07:38 pm Link |
