Comet Lovejoy 2014 is at it's closest tomorrow and is visible in the early evening sky.

The best I get is a bright green spot in images - and a "Green Spot / green glow" halo around it with Binoculars.

I will say - it's amazingly green in color.

Anybody else trying to get images?

It's pitch black here at night.  What section in the sky will it be in?

I only have one, very juvenile thing to say about this: Lovejoy2014 sounds like a bar in Thailand.

OK, I am done here. smile

I did make an effort to capture it but my equipment is lacking for anything meaningful beyond a smudge against a field of stars. I still have to review the RAWs but am confident I caught it.
