Just saw an episode of the TV show "Dead Like Me" -- I want a remake, but just like it is.  (I suspect Hollywood would make it less philosophical and more action / adventure, with the "grim reapers" becoming more judge & jury.

Some reboots are all about a rights grab, why try to rewrite history with a new Spiderman when
Sam Raimi clearly got it right.

My idea is take a premise that didn't live up to it's potential, take away the camp and cheese.
You get a gritty action thriller with political parallels to todays society like Battlestar Galactica.

To remake a iconic movie like Psycho is a no win situation.
