I've been wandering around BHphoto but could find something similar to this kind of reflector panel

Man, that just looks like a piece of foam board. Maybe with foil on one side.
Almost any reflector will do something similar.
Nothing special. (Unless you're Vincent Peters)

There is a foam board used, but before that at 0:35, there is another reflector frame, which the assistant holds.
I got an oval reflectors but it seems that this kind of panel would be better use in some ways

Yeah, that's still the one I was looking at. I mean, it kinda looks like the matte board reflector that goes in this
unit:  http://www.msegrip.com/matthews-expenda … ctors.html but they are just hand holding it. Expensive!!!

Reflectors are one of those things that are too easy to make to spend a bunch of money on. Here's a good DIY

There are two different reflectors being used. One is a movie set reflector. that is the one on a stand, in the earlier part of the video. It is two sided, with silver on one side, and white on the other. It is designed to be used with HMI lighting.

The second, which is hand held, is basically just gator foam, which you can get in white or black. Add a silver surface for additional brightness.

I have used gator foam a lot, in location work. It is also much more durable, in the studio, than regular foam board. It does cost a lot more, though. It has a hard plastic surface underneath the outer skin, that makes it more rigid and more durable. It comes in different thickness.

Foam board whatever sort of black plastic something tacked onto the sides.  You can see it in all of its sloppy perfection when you pause at 2:02.

In this case (or any case for that matter) the reflection doesn't matter.  The model does.

I've tried to find
Sunbounce Micro Mini, it looks different. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6 … e_Kit.html

The MiniMicro will do the same job as the Matthboard and it folds up to a nice compact size. I would worry less about matching the exact board used in video as I would be willing to bet the photographer just uses the Matthboard on the shoot because it was what the grip company had available to rent at his location.

If you want something to travel with I recommend the MicroMini with the Gold/Silver fabric skin.

Does anyone have a link to the finished work from that shoot online? I couldn't help but noticing that Mamiya medium format film camera was used.

I think the reflector used was a foamcore board with a black paper or blackwrap foil on the other side (it may be that a white gator board glued to a black gator board) but I use Lastolite Skylite reflector frame with a black on one side and white on the other for outdoor shoot.

I've tried both silver and white reflector. The silver is just too much contrast for me to achieve a natural look. It makes me have to do a lot in post.
The white to me sometimes, i cant see the different between using it or not using it (with my own eyes). But as what i observed, He (Vincent Peters) often use the white side, not the silver side.
You can say it's almost out of the matter using white reflector, but to me, it would enhance micro contrast and details

@ 1:42 -- looks like a broken or damaged edge
- It might just be simple  "better quality" extruded polystyrene foam insulation board -  it's not colored pink or blue with printing all over it in every market as it often is in the U.S..
