Before what?  Like, before breakfast?  Don't try it on an empty stomach, man.  Cramps.  Drowning.  Death.  None of it fun.

Also, once you get too far beyond the cover...

I'd advise against reading the Necronomicon in a small cabin deep in the woods, but aside from that you probably don't need any warnings before reading a book.  wink

Back in high scool a long time ago I bought all of the HP Lovecraft books from the local book shop.  It was a rainy summer night, so I was in my house with the door open sitting in my room at the end of the hall reading.  Being young, I was impresionable, and the horror of Lovecraft's stories had quite an effect on me.

At some point I looked up, and toads had come in the open door and were hopping down the hallway at me.  It was terrifying!

These days, as an adult, I last read OGLAF books one and two.  I should warn you if you do, they are filled with cartoon porn.  And it's weird cartoon porn.  You can also read all the comics online, if you are too cheap to kill a tree for it.

I've read one book.  "The Dictionary", by Suede McGarrett.  I've been reading it obsessively since I was eight.  I don't do well with fiction, so this one book is it for me.  You should read it.  But, don't drink and read.  That's bad.

I'ved read 3-4 this year. 2 more I started but didn't finish. Fiction needs a good plot.

Use both hands and wrap one leg around the trunk.  Just like you'd do with a live tree.

Be careful. On some books things pop out when you turn the pages. Could poke you in the eye if you're too close.

I always read the book. Never concerned myself with the lesser books referred to as "a book". Lol

J/k Everyone knows us rednecks can't read.

In high school I was in the auditorium taking a standardized test. MY BFF leaned over to me and asked what I had put down in response to a question. It was how many books I had read in the past year that were NOT required by our teachers. I said well how many books have YOU read? She said none. I told her to lie.
