I have a beard and have kept it because look like a child otherwise. I like high fashion modeling and am being told that I need to shave. I want to be successful but I know that if I shave I won't look like the same person at all. I keep it trimmed and nice. Do I have to get rid of this to be successful?

Unfortunately, that was good advice, if you want to be a model. While many models are doing work with stubble.......that is easily created, in the short term, and then shaved. Real beards are more about"specialty modeling" for men, where the look desired is with beard.

Hey

I have that same issue, complete baby face when shaven.
I read a lot about it and it turns out that men and boys different in many aspects like:

Thickness  / Muscle mass (Upper body - neck, shoulders, chest, back)
Speed of movement (Men are slower and relaxed)
Speed of speech (Slower, deeper, breathy)

Also haircuts can contribute towards apperent age

No .. Be who you are .. Trends change all the time. I'm an Alternative model with steady gigs. I would lose work if my beard was gone. And your beard looks cool.
