YES THE SHOUTING IS WARRANTED!

I bought a used book from Amazon, listed as "Very Good" condition.  Someone had TORN OUT and ENTIRE CHAPTER of the book!

WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING!  AND WHY?

I hope a thousand illiterate camels trample their crotch for all eternity!

Shouting in titles isn't allowed ... unfortunately.

Is it a paperback?  It used to be common for people to rip chapters out of books so there was less to carry, and easier to turn pages.  I worked in a used bookstore and we had to look out for disposable books when buying stock.

I hope you're pursuing getting a refund and leaving the appropriate feedback for the seller. That's pretty frickin' inexcusable.

If it's a Stephen King novel you're probably not missing much

Here's a mystery book --

---  The first 35 chapters will cost you $1.00,
---  The final chapter is available for only $250.00.

Shameless plug: My novel comes out February 25. If a chapter were missing, a person's life would be unimaginably affected for all eternity. And for a few days after that.

So take heart. At least it wasn't MY book...
