ZBrush has generally been better with organic shapes. Now with the various R releases in ZBrush 4 it's been getting better and better with hard surface modeling. People who make base meshes in Maya or similar apps need not leave ZBrush now. At least for modeling.

R7 is the last upgrade in ZBrush 4. After this it will be ZBrush 5.

I'm having alot of fun with it.... trying to learn human(oid) anatomy as well as mech and armor designs before attempting anything serious. Also planning to design backgrounds too smile

its been a very long time since I last worked on anything photography related in PS other than making alphas for zbrush big_smile

actually I just figured out that zsketching anatomy using mannequins is the way to go for modeling humanoid models without any reference other than maybe muscle flow only tongue 

still there is way too much to learn smile
