Horrible samples of 25 years of PS. Also, the first version of PS is 1.0 Mac on a 800k floppy disk (one i had was 0.97), least they could start off with that version, not Windows?

The video in the link has very little to do with photography it's more about illustration/graphic design............ that's why I use Capture One.

I had no idea of your rules this being a private forum.

To expand my point as with the link video.... PS was initially a illustrator/design program maybe there's a subtle hint that photographers should be using LR instead.
25 yrs and the PS algorithms aren't the best when it comes to image processing as with noise reduction.

I'm translating an article to Turkish about this for a newspaper that basically concludes PS will not be this successful in terms of business 25 years later

I wonder if there was any other software before PS that could reduce noise?

Quantel Paintbox... very powerful and expensive it was also used for effects on TV commercials.

Why are you complaining about software skewed toward digital art in the digital art forum?

I actually don't remember noise reduction being a big goal then. As I remember it, noise was mainly film grain inherent in the scanned image, and compositing entailed matching grain between elements, which often involved adding grain to CG.

If the image was too grainy to accept it wasn't scanned in the first place.
