I want to refresh my portfolio.  I'm pretty sure I know which pictures I feel I should get rid of and replace but I am curious to see if others would pick the same ones and if the reasoning is similar to what I am thinking.  Ultimately I just want my portfolio to look better than it does right now and make room for new pictures as they come.

Would also love to hear which is a definite keeper.

Lose, it seems completely alone and out of place in your port, you have nothing else even vaguely similar to it.

Keep, best shot showing off your shape that you have.

Which are keepers rather depends on the image that you are trying to project, but I doubt that they included the skateboard photos.

This one does show you have nice legs, but models upper body is lost in shadow
Odd shadow on wall behind model blends into body

For me the lip ring is the deal breaker. It dominates your face in all of the shots in which it appears. You have a lovely mouth which is destroyed by the ring.

I only asked about which pictures I should replace not a critique on my look.  Lip rings are removable as my portfolio shows and as my profile states, I would hope something that could be easily fixed to suit your preference if you ask politely would not be a deal breaker.  Just make sure you are addressing the topic the poster has asked about and avoid using a harsh word like "destroyed" to describe someone's face.

Thank you everyone for your feedback.

Cailey,I apologize for letting my visceral reaction override my critique. Let's start over.

#1 You have great legs and it's a good pose for them. Your left hand coming out from under you looks weird. Better to leave it on the other side. A portfolio pic should always highlight your face, here your legs are brighter than your face. If you had been looking at the camera it would have been a more powerful portrait of you. I'll leave the lighting and cropping to others, but you should be more than 75% of the frame.

#2 Others like this, I'm not thrilled. It's too busy in the background, Your position on the chair looks odd, we see the only the white of one eye and your expression? The bottom of the dress blends with the seat so that curve is lost.

#3 This could have been a good pose if you had looked at the camera (remember, this is for YOUR porfolio). The harsh light and shadows are doing you no favors.

#4
YES! and YES again!. Great pose and expression, eye contact is great and your smile is wonderful. Fabulous energy.

#5 It's ok. Leg position is awkward. Doesn't grab me.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150304/21/54f7ef6d134eb_m.jpg

#6 What a great shape you have. Are you leaning on something we can't see? Maybe both arms out would have been better to balance.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150304/21/54f7ee668b07d_m.jpg

#7 You've got a great face with excellent bone structure. Shadows in eye sockets are not good here. A
straight on gaze would have been amazing. Good pose. Take a look at "The Girl with The Pearl Earring" She's looking at the viewer.

#8 Sorry guys, I really like this. lovely face and portrait.

#9 Awkward

#10 If I say cute, will you hate me? I like the fairy/elfin quality.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120921/16/505cf92dea883_m.jpg

#11 Strikes me as generic model. Too far away.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/110705/21/4e13de4639f32_m.jpg

#12 Wow! Without that distracting background this would have been amazing. A bit of expression would have helped even more.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120921/16/505cfb87405c9_m.jpg

#13 Shows the outfit pretty well even though some of the details get lost. What makes it special for you?
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130314/17/51426f259ed3c_m.jpg

#14 I can't tell if it's you.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130314/17/51426eba946a5_m.jpg

#15 You've got better ones of this set on your FB page (going up the stairs, ruffled satin and a vertical).
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130618/11/51c0a8b6d810b_m.jpg

You've got a great shape for modeling and a lovely face. Distractions should be removed ('nough said) unless you're going for that type of look. Expression needs to be seen. Mannequins don't make Vogue, personality in a face does. Use your expressions. I saw lots on your FB page. I wish you well. Shoot with photographers who are shooting for YOUR portfolio. Only the best go in it. Good luck!

Addendum
Actually, mannequin faces DO make Vogue, but who remembers those?

I would say the pictures in your current port.(@1:51pm March 19, 2015 EDT)are  NOT on  par with the beautiful model herself.

If most of your clients are female, just trust yourself and don't listen to anybody else.

If most of your clients are male, trust photographers(most of them are men).

Or you'd better setup another separate account.

Btw, you are a very pretty model.
Good luck!

(Dynamic posing is clearly a strength of yours on which to focus as you continue to refine your modeling "toolkit".)
