I stumbled across this thread (https://www.modelmayhem.com/forums/post … st17222332) on another search and was somewhat surprised to see that it died out so rapidly.  As a brand-spankin-new New Orleanian (just bought a house in Algiers and am in the process of moving from New York on at least a part year basis) I thought it might be a valuable asset and decided to try re-opening the conversation here in General Industry.

So what say you, New Orleanians?  Would a thread for area folks to introduce themselves and network on a casual basis while providing information on shooting, visiting and living in the Big Easy to the general membership as well as to locals be useful?  And more to the point, would you want to participate in such a thread? 

And if it develops legs to stand on, where does it belong?  Off-Topic?  Newbies?  General Industry?  I dropped it here as being the most likely place for people to see it but am not sure how such a thread would fit into MM's structure.

Inquiring minds want to know.
