On the yahoo web page, read how a popular politician announced he was going in for prostate surgery. As a man of the same age, it was with much sympathy and best wishes I continued the article. However catching the next headline further down the page "Politician says he first detected tumor while shaving" was just a little too much. Who chooses the placement of these headlines ???

It seems to happen far more often than you'd think.  Often photos from one story are near a headline from a different story with some hilarious results.  Or "brilliant" mismatches of ads next to specific articles.

Personally I suspect that, more often than not, some bored editors are having a bit of fun and laughing about it at the bar...
