Nikon Coolpix P900 lens has an 83x optical zoom
The Nikon Coolpix P900 lens has an 83x optical zoom, which means when you point it at the moon, it's basically a pretty good telescope. http://digg.com/video/this-camera-lens- … s-pictures Jun 28 15 06:52 pm Link We literally can't keep these in stock at the store. The very first shipment when on the shelves, and every other P900 that arrives has been spoken for. It doesn't suck. I don't mean it's mediocre ... I'm genuinely stunned that at 83x zoom on an overcast day and hand-held, the camera produces anything but shitty pictures. They're not amazing, but the fact that the photos are even halfway decent astounds me. I hope they ramp up production big-time. It's all but impossible to sell compact cameras that don't have 30x zoom or go under water these days, and this is one of the few point and shoot models in recent memory that has really excited consumers. Edit for those that didn't get the joke: not really. Jun 28 15 10:37 pm Link Jun 29 15 04:35 pm Link |
