Guys, please, I need an honest feedback! I've asked for a critique a few months back, got some good advices, took everything into consideration and made changes. Now I'm back and I really need to hear your feedback again.

Please, let me know if you have any suggestions regarding my photos, profile note, profile photo, anything that comes to your mind. Is there anything that would put you off working with me? If so, why?

I've done many more shoots but I have space for 15 images only, hope I've made a good decision but if you think I should replace any of them please let me know.

Very beautiful woman but honestly nothing in your portfolio would make me want to book you as a model. Id suggest paying a few  professional photographers in your town to give you better quality images and enhance your portfolio. Everything you have no just comes off as amateur-ish.

Best wishes.

Wow, that's a bit harsh, I think the photographers I worked with are amazing and very talented people (one of them was published in Vogue) I'm very glad I had a chance to work with them, I'd never call their photography amateur-ish but thank your feedback and taking the time to look at my portfolio.

You look very lovely in the photo
How ever if I were preparing this image for a models portfolio there are things I would want to do differently
Areas of high contrast, dark against white, will distract the viewer’s eyes, as in the case the large logo against the white background; the logo is also forcing you against the left photo border [1/4 of this photo is not of model due to logo]
A more natural look is obtained when the eyes are looking in the direction the nose is pointed, here you are hitting the camera with the solid whites of your eyes
Long appearing open necks are sexy and inviting; my adjustment would be to lower models left shoulder and roll it back, which will lengthen appearance of your neck

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ac9acf4ce_m.jpg
Do you see how the logo in this photo is doing the same thing as the other photo I reviewed?
Too much head tilt for me, models left hand looks forced

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140709/06/53bd483974621_m.jpg
For me this is a much stronger portfolio photo then the other two, there is no logo to distract the viewer’s eyes. All the attention is on you.

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140610/22/5397e5151b498_m.jpg
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/141118/13/546bbb924021f_m.jpg
Show me the model and not the wall, do you see how powerful and dominating you are in the lower image of the two, much stronger portfolio material.

Some photos work better in a portfolio then others, while others are better suited for display on the photographer’s wall or yours, as an art piece.

You are quite lovely, I wish you well.

Not to sound creepy, but if I had to design what I thought was a truly sexy woman, she'd look something like you. The eyes, the curves, the hair, etc. all exude beauty and confidence. Though I don't think some of the photos in your portfolio really drive that home, some do. The UV Pro logo being so large is very off putting, though the photos especially the black and white headshot is nice (even with blown highlights in the foreground). I would be open to the right TFP shoots to further solidify your image as a model. If I were in London I'd work with you without hesitation. Being I do primarily nude and implied nude, I'd opt for implied because you feel comfortable with that, but don't know that I see enough in the portfolio to make me ask rates. Am I making sense or do I need to specify images?

I agree with Forbes assessment of your portfolio. I know it is tough to  hear that photographers you think highly of, haven't delivered but building a tf portfolio of great quality is very difficult. Expression can be difficult to master but master it you must and in this photo you'll really intriguing, really rocking: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/38995668

There is a range of of very good, good and not so good in your portfolio:

#1 I happen to like beautiful women looking sideways (as you can see) but your eye swivel may be over too much. Your bright shoulder is a bit distracting. Turning your upper body a bit more to the camera will make the shoulder smaller. That logo is way too large and dark. Would be fine if it said Chanel or other brand.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ae4d37099_m.jpg

#2 The most beautiful part of this picture is your face. Your hand against your dark pats is distracting. I looked at a cropped version of this and cropping in from viewer left to take out your right elbow and up from the bottom to the top of your breasts gives a beautiful diagonal that focuses on your face and makes the head tilt work.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ac9acf4ce_m.jpg

#3 I wouldn't recognize you from this picture. That's the point of a portfolio, no?
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/03/55b4b0432fd32_m.jpg

#4This just misses unless you're selling the shirt, not you. Your figure is well caught, just wish there was more of your face. Portrait mode shot would have caught your whole figure.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140610/22/5397e5151b498_m.jpg

#5 Here, it's the flat light and the stocking seam and bunching on your feet. I like the pose. but I don't think the cherries add anything or the lipstick smooch. Do you realize that your behind is brighter and at least 2x the size of your face?
Nice change of logo.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ace0a92ca_m.jpg

#6 Nice pose, you look lovely. Portrait framing wouldn't have clipped your head or chopped your legs.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/1 … 1ec064.jpg

#7 Between the logo and the tattoo, your face is looked at 3rd. Your left eye is into your nose. Not a good thing.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150724/04/55b22036627dc_m.jpg

#8 This should be a fabulous shot but the light is not flattering and there's a lot of processing. Also, you have the "I'm supposed to lo look sexy" expression.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150629/01/559102e787254_m.jpg

#9  You are about 1/3 of the shot. You should be at least 2/3. You have a blank expression. Pose is ok.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150629/01/559102855c337_m.jpg

#10 Not thrilled with the Instagram look. It's making your eyes disappear and not adding anything. The arm tattoo is as bad as a logo.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150222/03/54e9ba4922036_m.jpg

#11 The light is hazy and flat. It's making you look lifeless rather than dreamy.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140709/06/53bd483974621_m.jpg

#12 Are you there? Are you thinking about laundry? The lighting isn't great either.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/1 … 8b1bdd.jpg

#13 Lucky 13! Rowrrr! You're alive! There's expression and a good pose!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150222/03/54e9bafcc888a_m.jpg

#14 It has all of the right elements but somehow it doesn't jump out at me.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/141118/13/546bbb924021f_m.jpg

#15 Your expression is a bit wary. The position of the legs and feet are awkward. You've got white gravel dust on your right shoe and we see the grey soles (The photographer should have caught the shoe soles). A bit of post-processing (contrast and brightness) and cropping would have improved this shot.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140617/16/53a0cc8e6ec1a_m.jpg

Your portfolio could be so much better with more expression, better processing and cropping and no huge logos or tattoos (Tattoos maybe if it's that kind of theme). You are gorgeous, but there has to be life to catch the eye. #14 falls just short of passion. Practice with a mirror to catch things like bunched stockings. Imagine real or imaginary scenes and get into it. Find photographers who are shooting for YOUR portfolio. Sorry, but the bar goes UP for a beautiful model because we want her to look beautiful with no detraction or distractions.
Definitely keep shooting and if I might say, Have Fun!

I like 3, 11, 13, 14.

The rest should be replaced as you continue shooting.

Try to work with different photographers.

What's not to like? You look great even in shots that may be a little weak here and there. It's a perfectly fine page for a glamour model.I'd book you if you were in my area.

Hi Marta,

I think I made critique/comments on your images a while ago, and I think that you are improving.

I'd delete the comment in your profile about your breasts being real. Who cares? What does it matter?

Keep working with good togs and try to learn from each photoshoot!

You are a knockout and you definitely have potential. I'd say you are working with some good photographers. My personal favorite photo of yours is this one:
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140707/07/53baa941ec064_m.jpg
Obviously seductive and does it work! Wow, my eyes opened up. One thing that drives me nuts is landscape orientation that shouldn't be. This is one of those examples. This shot would 10x better if it were portrait (vertical) orientation. These two shots would be better too if it were portrait framing:
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140610/22/5397e5151b498_m.jpghttps://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ac9acf4ce_m.jpg

My favorites are these:

Least favorites are these:

I'm still unsure about the bridal shot. If you would like to target that market, then keep it, but I bet you could create a better shot than that.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140709/06/53bd483974621_m.jpg

It's always helpful during critique to know what your goals are and what markets you are looking to work in.

Would I book you if I could? Yes, if for nothing else your eyes and lips are out of this world! the only thing I think your port could use is a really good bikini or bra/panty shot to better show your insane curves. Other than that I think you have a port to be proud of.

I agree with the comments about the photography and the photographers. Several of your photos show some very basic mistakes in lighting, density, composition, cropping, and posing.  You don't shoot into a shoulder, it's just a big white blob that does nothing for the photo. You don't underexpose the face ....EVER.  You don't have to model look off the page. You don't have the background brighter than the main subject.

You... GOOD, the photography... not so good.  You don't want to be blamed for their mistakes.

P.S. I don't care who they shot for... if that's the best they can do then the photo editor was blind... or didn't know any better himself.

Wow, I couldn't check this for a while as I was busy, I've just read all your comments now and I'm seriously grateful. I really appreciate the time you guys spent to give me detailed critique! I didn't expect that, thank you!

Lee_Photography: I understand what you saying. Most of these things are not really up to me but I can see your point. Thank you

Jay Farrel: Thank you so much, I'm flattered! I'm still open to TF shoots (I'd definitely work TF with you) but I wrote I work for pay only because most photographers think they don't need to pay if I work also TF even if they are not good at all. I've got a few paid shoots booked now and this is a massive improvement for me.

La StarShooter: I just feel a bit bad to hear people criticizing my photographers because I really love their work and I think they don't deserve it tongue I see what you mean about expressions, I have to admit it's not my strongest point. I do practise but somehow during the shoot I just do my standard sexy face most of the time. I think I need to focus more.

Julietsdream: Thanks, I'll continue trying to improve smile

Howard Tarragon: I see your points and I'm really grateful for such a detailed feedback but I have to slightly disagree with some points.
"I wouldn't recognize you from this picture. That's the point of a portfolio, no?" I think it's good to show different looks in portfolio to present that you can look in many different ways.
"#4This just misses unless you're selling the shirt, not you. Your figure is well caught, just wish there was more of your face. Portrait mode shot would have caught your whole figure." You are right and I understand it completely but I keep this photo because on another modeling website it's the most viewed out of all my pictures so I think people like it.
"#5 Here, it's the flat light and the stocking seam and bunching on your feet. I like the pose. but I don't think the cherries add anything or the lipstick smooch. Do you realize that your behind is brighter and at least 2x the size of your face?" You are right about stockings and I do realise that my bum is bigger than my face, which I'm very happy about because I like big bums and trying to exercise to make mine even bigger smile
"#8 This should be a fabulous shot but the light is not flattering and there's a lot of processing. Also, you have the "I'm supposed to lo look sexy" expression." Because I am supposed to look sexy! big_smile
"#10 Not thrilled with the Instagram look. It's making your eyes disappear and not adding anything. The arm tattoo is as bad as a logo." Well, I've got 7 tattoos, I understand some people don't like them but they are part of me.
Thanks again for taking your time to review my portfolio smile

Richard Majerski: Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I thought people wouldn't pay so much attention to photographer's let's say "mistakes" because in the end of the day they book me, not my photographers tongue But I guess if someone is a photographer he looks at photos a bit differently than other people and notices more things.

Blimey Studios: Thank you, I ask for a feedback every few months because it really helps me to improve . And the comment about breasts being real is there because some people accuse me of having implants and I don't want people to think that. Also, I am mostly against plastic surgeries, just don't like that fake look. And I think people care because some only book natural models so I decided to specify that. You would be surprised how many people ask me if my boobs are fake smile

Kris Krieg: Thanks so much! x My goals are to be good enough to work with some amazing photographers (TF) and create something special. Also, I would like to get more paid bookings if possible smile And it would be nice to get published one day. And for the bridal shoot it's very interesting how some people really love it and some don't. I personally think this photographer is fantastic and I love my make up big_smile

Peach Jones: Aww thanks a lot, you make me blush! big_smile I will add some more lingerie or bikini shoots soon.

Vector One Photography: Thanks for your comments

Ok guys I'll continue shooting and ask again in few months smile And for the paid shoots at the moment I charge 20£ per hour or 100 for full day, do you think that's ok? I managed to get a few bookings recently. so I'm thinking the rates are not bad, hm?

You have a mix of pretty good photos and bad photos in your portfolio.  Here are the ones worth keeping...
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150629/01/559102e787254_m.jpg
This is a good photo.  Lit well, pretty wardrobe.  I think if all your photos were on this level, you would be booking paid work.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140709/06/53bd483974621_m.jpg
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/141118/13/546bbb924021f_m.jpg
These still aren't quite to professional level, but they're on their way.
One thing to think about, right now your portfolio is only glamour.  If I could give advice to get some variation, I would suggest some more natural look (light makeup) in natural light.

Here are the photos in your portfolio that should be replaced or deleted in the near future...
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/02/55b4ace0a92ca_m.jpg
The concept is weak.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to kneel on a pillow on the kitchen floor and flirt with fruit.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150726/03/55b4b0432fd32_m.jpg
This one does nothing for you.  You can't see your face, although it's styled well.  The photographer let you down on this one.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140617/16/53a0cc8e6ec1a_m.jpg
This one should probably be deleted.  It brings your portfolio down.  First off.  It makes no sense.  What is a young woman in an evening gown and heels doing in a rock quarry in the middle of the day?  The lighting isn't interesting enough for it to be a contrast between the gown and location.  Besides that. Your knees are pointed toward the camera and ankles apart, creating a distracting triangle with the dress. It's an all around fail.

You are lovely, and your figure is something to die for!  I'm looking forward to seeing your new additions!

I've worked with Marta, she is diligent and a joy to work with. Unfortunately, I'm not one of the glamour photographers whose work is going to improve her glamour portfolio, but I know she has excellent photos by professional photographers that don't yet appear in her portfolio.

A portfolio needs to show different aspects of work, and Marta is more than just a glamour model. But I agree with the suggestion that it is worthwhile to change the photos in your portfolio from time to time. Good luck, Marta!
