Aug 14 15 06:33 am Link I feel like I would like the black and white better if it was actually black and white, not that sepia filtery look. Just an opinion thought, I'm really not a fan of sepia coloring. Aug 14 15 07:18 am Link I normally prefer B&W but the color one has more pop to me and I like the overall look of the color photo. Aug 14 15 12:53 pm Link Color. Because it's not plain brown or blonde hair, show those vibrant colors Aug 14 15 02:21 pm Link Aug 14 15 02:51 pm Link The black and white all the way Aug 14 15 03:20 pm Link I like the way her jewelry and eyes seem to pop in the B&W, but I am leaning towards those vibrant colors in the color version. Aug 14 15 03:27 pm Link Ok, great. It seems the color version is taking the lead so far. Thanks for all the input. Aug 14 15 03:46 pm Link Here is a vote for the B&W. (My son likes the color but he's not on MM.) Aug 14 15 06:00 pm Link I'd say the black and white one. The color would be if the skin color wasn't so wildly inconsistent between the face and body. Aug 14 15 06:03 pm Link Is the colour version still in the lead cause i am going to endorse B&W. Aug 14 15 06:26 pm Link I vote for the color version. It attracts the eye quicker and keeps the attention longer. Aug 14 15 06:59 pm Link I did an informal poll amongst friends similar to this recently and found no consensus. I personally find the tonal values more interesting in her face of the B&W version. In the color version, the skin tones on her figure look a little too rich for me. The unique shape on her face and the color of her hair fight for attention in the color version in my opinion. In the B&W version, the triangular shape takes precedence and becomes the statement. The triangular shape is the emphasis and color distracts the eye from what you are really trying to "say" in this image. Aug 14 15 09:19 pm Link B&W. But just one worthless opinion. Aug 14 15 09:24 pm Link I think I like the B&W best. The color version reminds me of Bowie's ALADDIN SANE Aug 14 15 09:55 pm Link If my counting is correct, 8 favor the B&W and 5 prefer the color version. Interesting... Aug 15 15 03:45 am Link Add one more fir B/W Aug 15 15 04:36 am Link *Odd man out...I like the center, Sepia toned one, the Best..!! Aug 15 15 05:39 am Link B&W. Aug 15 15 06:20 am Link One more vote for B&W Aug 15 15 02:05 pm Link Julietsdream wrote: I kinda prefer the sepia one better myself, but it looks like we're clearly in the minority here.
