Hi Everyone

Everyone has their own good portfolio but marketing is the one of the most important things for us

How can you do your own advertising? How can you reach to potential clients and introduce yourself etc.

I am new in London and do not have any contact in here. You know London is the one of the most expensive city and hard to survive it here.

I you were me what would you do?

I would look up photographers and try to assist.  I'm sure it is complicated to get some cash going fast.  Is there some photo classes you can take?  If nothing else it will put you in touch with fellow photographers.  If you can, try to get a job at a rental house that rents to photographers or just try to work in a photo studio that needs a manager.  Good luck

Yes, London is a very expensive place to live. Whilst pay levels tend to try to compensate for that it does mean that people there can be more choosy about how they use their disposable income.

What type of photography work are you trying to get ?
Your website that is linked here from your profile is only fashion / model orientated. Is that the type of work you are wanting to get ?.
If it is fashion / model photography then try hawking yourself around the agencies.

The text content on your linked site is minimal and with search engines being content led these days you are not giving them much to feed on. One simple way to increase the text content is to add details about the sessions that you have galleries for. Where do you appear on Google for, example, 'fashion photographer London' ?. On this device I cannot look at what meta data and Alt tags you might or might not have. I cannot see any 'call to actions' on your website or any other details or encouragement for what people might hire you to do.

What are you doing to drive people to your website and social platforms ?

With 'High Street' chains that specialise in key cutting or cheap photo processing offering a child's photo shoot, prints and a key ring for £5 there is no bottom end of the market these days. The 'democratisation of photography' means that you cannot try to compete on price and expect to be earning anything. The bottom end of things don't seem to realise that they are actually paying their clients ........... Unfortunately people are also much less visually literate, they are less able to separate out good from bad photography. Therefore, to stand out, you have to be outstanding or offering a unique product that satisfies a niche area that is large enough to earn a living from.

Many 'successful photographers' are actually great at marketing, sales etc but average or so on the photography front.

Just noticed I've rambled on a bit, must go now.

Research. People have frequently asked me what are the real productive tools to marketing and I always say this but find that few people listen.

Grab all of the research tools you can and study until you have a more comprehensive understanding of the market you are wanting to work in. You will NOT find the information on Model Mayhem. I don't know what it is over there, but trade/industry publications for fashion (not just high fashion. also: shoes, accessories, kids, plus, etc) are much easier to break into than consumer magazines. They also publish lists of manufacturers--usually annually. Fashion market shows publish booth lists and catalogs.

If you have financial resources, you can subscribe to professional databases like Agency Access or FreshLists.

You have to find out where the jobs are before you can sort out how to reach them. Again, Model Mayhem is NOT the place.

Networking, networking, networking! I have that's really, here at least, the only way to get work regularly. I network to network- to get to know people and for them to know me and me to know them - but not specifically so I get hired (I know that sounds weird). BUT.. they know who I am, what I do, and what I specialize in. That tends to get me work (when the need for a photographer arises).  I'm assuming you already know your niche, but research and study who your competition is, what you can do differently, and find people who could make use of your services. This is just me personally, but I never try to undermine another photographer (i.e. I won't specifically go after another photographers client). I only "go after" when the opportunity arises a client that doesn't already have another photographer. Obviously if they choose to go after me and leave their current photographer, then I have no problem with that.

Print advertising is useless - google adwords seems to be, too. The rest really comes through a properly done website I think. Which really surprises me, because my current website is terrible and I still have people contact me through it. Thankfully there's a new (properly keyworded) one I'm having done in a few days.
