I don't have a wife but I can certainly attest to putting the top down and taking a drive. Since I got this car, every time I go anywhere, the top is down. I drove a car with a hard top a few days ago. I found myself looking for the switch to put the top down and feeling hot even with the air conditioner blowing the coldest air possible on the highest fan setting.

My car (a 1995 base Mustang with a gazillion miles) isn't even a nice example (my opinion) and I still prefer it over every other car that can't easily go topless.
