Its winter time, almost dead season for photographer. I wanted to know if there are any good locations to do winter shoots around GTA.

lots of great outdoors locations along the Bruce trail. Some cool locations near Brampton or even orangeville if you're willing to drive a bit.

Allan gardens is nice too. The greenhouse is a nice respite during the winter

Toronto island can be nice in the winter too. Though ferry service can be spotty during the coldest times.

Maybe some skating photography at Nathan Phillips square?

Hilton Falls, very close to you, looks good most any time of year.

for the most part, alleys across the downtown scene are deserted come winter. you can definitely get some edgier shots without much disturbance.
