Hi all. I'd like a (respectful) critique of my photos and profile.

Disclaimer: I'm new to mm and I have no grandiose visions of being a runway model. I've come to love this work as a creative outlet and a way to meet like-minded, interesting folk. That said, I do want to be compensated for my time, trade for travel, etc. I've been fortunate that way so far, but I'm always looking to learn more.

I'm also interested in your advice when it comes to branding myself. I think there's a niche for me out there and I want to fill it. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey there -

I come from a painting background myself, but I definitely enjoyed your port quite a bit. It actually had me wishing you were closer to the New York area, as you would be fun to work with on some painting ideas I had in the works.

For what it's worth: I definitely liked the pics you had, and they got me inspired thinking about new creations for my own works.

Wishing you the best...

Thanks Matt. I know some of my stuff is a bit beyond the pale of what's typical here. I do get back east from time to time so let's stay in touch.

You definitely have *a* style, but all your shots are almost too similar I think, they're all variations of 3 poses, head up, head down, head looking away to the side... I didn't see one image where you try and make a connection to the viewer by looking at the camera. They all seem to have the very same feel to them. You might want to try and expand your boundaries a little, I think you can do that quite a bit without straying from the stylized look you seem to be going for.

That's what I see,
hope that helps!

Thanks for taking the time to look over my profile, I definitely agree with you. I'm looking to stay within my style but am hoping to diversify a bit more. Appreciate the feedback!

Greetings, welcome to MM.

I want to touch on some things but first I want to emphasize that I am simply sharing information, not trying to influence your decisions. So, take what I say as it is useful to you and proceed as you will.

Your About Me section starts with "Tennessee bound" which sounds exciting and mysterious but lacks important details. It is not clear if you are moving to Tennessee to reside there or simply passing through. The time frame is somewhat ambiguous as well although your posted schedule is very clear and a good practice.

Consider changing all the spaces between lines to single spaces. The overall look will be more consistent and more compact.

Since you are new you have probably not discovered all of the threads discussing cancellation policies and escorts. The short version is that neither of these are popular working practices and both of them will cost you jobs. Search MM and learn, then consider how you wish to present these ideas if they are going to be part of your offering.

Your policy on nudity will reduce the number of jobs you are offered also but sadly, it won't stop the offers you will receive for jobs you do not want to take. How you deal with this varies on the offer and the individual making it. I wouldn't waste much time explaining things to anybody, simply block them if it starts to turn into any sort of boondoggle or report them to the Mods if the offer is way out of bounds.

Now, the photos!

You have a good look, seem very comfortable with the camera. To be blunt, you need to work with better photographers even if they are not paying you. Better photos will enhance your value as a model considerably. Models may be better off posting images that are quite different than the images a photographer might post since your purpose for posting them is different.

The 3rd and 4th image in your first row are your best. I would recommend you consider deleting the entire second row, the first two are flat, out of focus and do nothing for you as a model, the third is not focused in a way that is useful to you and the fourth is awkwardly cropped. Replace the rest as you start getting better images to post.

All just my opinion, take it for what it is worth.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you for taking the time to review! You've definitely given me some things to think about. I appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts.
