There are a few more. I also read a article about first person vs third when I asked my question on here. 66% people who took part of a survey said first person and the rest said third. I guess it comes down to preference. I don't want to be viewed as a weirdo so I am keeping mine in first.

The first link is for stage bios. In the case of stage, writing your bio in third person allows the production to drop your bio into the program without a rewrite.

In Model Mayhem, a third-person bio just comes off as pretentious. Worse, it could be seen as the work of a Sluggo model manager writing on your behalf, and I can't begin to describe how popular model managers are around here.

Should your bio be in third person?

Only if the first two suck.

I am new to the forums, but have been on MM since 2008.

I have read a LOT of profiles.

I read your profile, like it and think it is perfect.

Congrats!

By definition, a Biography is written in the third person, always. However, your MM profile may not be a "biography"

Your profile should be
Here's who I am
Here's what I've done
Here's what I'd like to contribute to MM
Here's what I want to get out of MM

A second-person profile would be both fascinating and creepy as hell.

If you want to come across as a pompous ass, just write in the third person.  It really is that simple.
