Try  using the brouse feature look for photographers in your area whose work you like.  Ask them to shoot trade with you so you can build your port.

That's the very best advice. Second best would be to create a Casting.

Maybe but as a photographer I never look at castings offered by models.  I have always responded to a model who contacts me and is interested in shooting.  But that is just me.
